The family Zoldik is a family of fictional characters of the Manga Hunter × Hunter. She is made up of ten people: back-back-large-father, grandfather (Zéno), grandmother, father (Silva), mother, like five children (of which Irumi, Miruki, Kirua and Karuto). The assumptions concerning the fifth child diverge: some affirm that the 5th child would be called logically Aruka, and others which it would be about Kuroro. No information on this subject was delivered, and the mystery remains whole.

The members of this family specialized in the assassinations seem all to use (for wire in any case) a nen of the transformation (especially those having hair white moneys/) or handling (black hair) and to make use of weapons (paper, nails, yoyo…)

Information on the names
The difficulties of transliteration of Japanese make that for a Japanese word, there are several possible writings in Western alphabet. For example family name here can be translated Zaoldyeck or Zoldik. In the same way, Kirua in the manga is named Killua in animates. Here in fact the names of the French edition of the manga are used.

Kirua

Kirua , as of its younger childhood, was involved to kill by its family, and was initiated with all the techniques of combat, in order to take the succession, being estimated very gifted. It was also involved to support all kinds of tortures. This is why electricity, for example, does not do almost anything to him, even if it feels the pain.

Just like Gon, it is 12 years old when it presents to the examination hunter for the first time. There it did it in rupture with its family, having attacked her mother and her brother to be able to go. Contrary to his Gon friends, Kurapika and Léolio, it does not obtain the license of hunter of the first blow, having been disqualified with the last turn for the murder of a participant (handled by his/her brother). According to Cookie Kruger, second Master of Gon and Kirua as regards nen (it initiated Wing), Kirua is weakened by its speed of analysis: if an adversary presents any danger to him, it makes of sound to better avoid the contact and to be held remotely: it is a remainder of the excessive love which his/her mother and her Irumi big brother carried to him during the drives of her childhood.

Irumi

Irumi is the elder child of the Zoldik family. It makes use of nails to kill its adversaries but also to modify its appearance or that of the others. Thus it will take part in the examination hunter at the same time as Kirua, without this one recognizing it. Besides it will prevent it from passing it to the first test.

According to the ” Book” dated; , it is handling (it thus handles nails and needles).

It has certain bonds with Hisoka, even if one is unaware of how they knew each other.

Irumi will kill the godfathers in the Mafia of York shin city, thus avoiding with Kuroro Lucifuru being assassinated.

In volume 21 at the time of the combat against Ramotto, Kirua discovers that Irumi had established a needle in cranium to him (it will remove it at once). This one obliged Kirua to flee an enemy whom it was not sure to overcome.

Silva

Silva is the father of Kirua, Irumi, Mikuki and Karuto. It is an understanding father, contrary to his wife.

He already fought against Kuroro Lucifuru, the chief of the phantom brigade, with equal match (it is supposed that it is that it at this time known the faculty of Kuroro). One is still unaware of until where the relations between Zoldik and the phantom brigade go.

Zéno

Zéno is a very powerful assassin, Zoldik family member, father of Silva and thus grandfather of Kirua. One sees it reappearing at the time of the attack of the palate of the king at the side of Nétéro on the back of a dragon. Miruki

Miruki on the other hand seems to have a certain direction of the analysis as its conversation with Zéno in volume 5 attests some.

It seems to be at the origin of the yoyos of Kirua but one can as suppose as they are creations of Irumi.

The mother

It is the wife of Silva and the mother of Kirua. According to the ” Book” dated; its name is Kikyō.

It is a strange woman since of his face one does not see that his mouth. Its eyes are encircled of a kind of screen on which a point palpitates. Bindings surround the remainder of its face.

Its dress makes it resemble a lady Renaissance. She lies skilfully, for example to move away Gon and her friends from the den of Zoldik.

She does not have much authority on her family. Her husband himself does not hesitate with the rembarrer carefully when it is necessary.

She makes only two appearances: in volume 5 and volume 22, on a photograph.

In volume 5, it seems that it is it which shoots at its maidservant but it is still impossible there to affirm it. One claims it of Nen of the emission of share his personality (According to the test of Hisoka) and also of share his visor which gives him a resemblance to Cyclops of X-Men.

Karuto

Karuto is the little brother of Kirua, Irumi and Miruki, and the son of Silva and his wife. In spite of its air of baby in-arms and its pronounced androgyny, Karuto is well a boy. It just like appears for the first time in volume 5 the majority of the family members.

According to the ” Book” dated; , it is handling.

It replaces Hisoka as a number 4 in the phantom Brigade. One is unaware of of which right, since the boss, Kuroro Lucifuru, do not officiate at this time any more. One can suppose that it is about an arrangement between the brigade and the Zoldik family but this relation remains extremely fuzzy. Certain assumptions affirm that any member can decide to integrate new.

It is thus the back-back-large-father of Kirua.

According to the ” Book” dated; , it names Maha and is nen reinforcement. However, according to the provided family tree, he would be the father of Zéno. It may be thus that the author is modified things.

The last child
One knows nothing him separately that it was born after Karuto. One does not see it that on the family photo of volume 22 (of back). It has of long black hair.

It could also have a more or less close bond with the brigade (see Karuto).

Also, according to the logic of the first names of the children of Silva, its first name could be Aruka (Iru” Mi” – ” Mi” ruki-” Ki” rua-” A” ruka-” Ka” ruto).
